It is vital for Teachers/educators to understand that incorporating a daily Acknowledgment of Country is way of encouraging children to engage with diversity and respect. The following questions can be reflected upon when supporting children to think about what it means to Acknowledge Country:

 

  •  What is the name of the language group of this area?
  • Do you know how far this Country extends ?
  • What are some special places on this Country?
  • Have you always lived on the same Country?
